| Every year, countless New Jerseyans devote themselves to tutoring, hospital work, mentoring, and many other forms of volunteerism and community service. On this program, we examine who these unsung heroes are and what motivates them. We talk with four individuals who are making a difference in their everyday lives. The goal is not only to celebrate these individuals, but to also allow them the opportunity to share their humble stories, which are sure to inspire viewers. They will discuss why they started volunteering and share the satisfaction they feel knowing they are making a difference in the lives of others. They will also examine ways to encourage others to get involved and what impact the sagging economy has on volunteer organizations. Throughout the program we will share on-screen web sites and phone numbers for viewers to contact for more information on how viewers can make a difference by volunteering their time and efforts to those in need.
